Stephen Garden

Stephen began his financial career in 1993 and over the years has worked at several well-known top tier financial institutions in mortgage specific capacities as a buyer of various mortgage loans.  Throughout his career he has held roles as an Analyst, Trader and Portfolio Manager.  He prides himself with an unblemished record of integrity for all these years in what is a heavily regulated industry.  His years of experience uniquely enable him to simplify, explain and fund even the most complex lending transactions and ensure his clients and partners can make fully informed decisions.

Stephen grew up in Huntington, Long Island into a Real Estate family-owned business and over the years has imparted his expertise while simultaneously gaining a great deal of knowledge as well as a network of Real Estate professionals.  The scope of his network includes Attorneys, Architects, Contractors, Home Inspectors, and other referrals that he readily shares with his Borrowers and Agents to achieve success.

Stephen moved to the lending side of the business at Interstate Home Loan Center, Inc., with their community focus and knowledgeable and efficient staff, to increase his quality time with his wife, two daughters and three Rhodesian ridgebacks away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Stephen holds an MBA in finance from St. John’s University, NY.  His numerous interests include viewing high school sports, building computers, cycling, amateur auto racing and sporting clays.  He passionately believes lower cost does not mean less service and has worked every day to earn his customers and professional partners business and referrals.
