This program is designed to offer non-traditional access to prime capital fostering homeownership for diverse underbanked individuals and families. Unlike the Investment Debt Servicing Loan, this program does require limited documentation. The key distinguishing feature is that the market rent for the subject property does not need to cover the new mortgage amount for the subject property because the debt-to-income (DTI) ratio is considered. No tax returns or W2s are required however, a 12-month CPA Income and Expense statement will be required for self-employed borrowers and a verification of employment (VOE) for salaried borrowers.
